About Us

The Ridge Church was founded on July 13th, 2008, originally located on Garrett Shortcut in Berlin, PA. What began with just five members quickly outgrew its space and moved to its current home on Berlin Plank Road in Somerset. Today, The Ridge Church is a vibrant Apostolic community with multiple ministries, opportunities for involvement, and a strong focus on Godly fellowship. We are also active in supporting missionaries around the world.

Pastor Dan and Cheryl Judy have faithfully led the church for over 15 years. Married for 36 years, they are deeply rooted in Somerset County and play an active role in serving both the church and the local community.

Pastor Dan has devoted more than 35 years to ministry. Before becoming a full-time pastor, he ran a successful insurance agency, managing over 3,200 commercial accounts and overseeing a multi-million-dollar operation. Despite his success in business, he felt a higher calling and chose to follow God’s purpose by stepping fully into ministry.

Over the years, Pastor Dan has served in many roles:

• Choir Director – Leading worship through music

• Youth Leader – Mentoring young people for over 11 years

• Sunday School Teacher – Teaching and shaping lives through the Word

• Associate Minister – Supporting the church for six years

• Senior Pastor – Leading The Ridge Church for over 15 years with God-given vision and grace

He also ministers to the incarcerated, offering hope, compassion, and the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
